The banner of my blog is an attempt to say where my foundation and ethos and values lie.
I am a Christian. I think I started this blog over 17 years ago now (I haven't checked).
This blog is about the different parts of me, my learning and development and even how my beliefs and values may have changed as life has happened. The joys, the challenges, the disappointments and the victories.
If that is the purpose of this blog - it would be a really sad state of affairs if years later, nothing had changed. It would be really sad if I was stubbornly stomping my feet and digging in refusing to consider new scientific research, acknowledging mistakes and refusing to move intentionally into the new.
The purpose has always been to share human experience..
The Challenges of this last Season.
I am not quite sure where to start here. My health has been a challenge. It comes with ageing.
Therein lies a problem. that is multi-faceted.
Going to professionals, feeling unheard and dismissed because it is easy to say "It's your age" or "It is menopause". So it has taken well over a year for people to starting listening and saying, maybe there is a problem or actually you may have a point.
You may actually know yourself better than we thought.
It looks like I am beginning to be heard.
This has been challenging in so many ways. It has challenged me emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
It has challenged relationships, it has challenged my values and mindset.

Challenge brings Growth, Development and Transformation.
Growth can be painful. In order to grow and develop sometimes you have to knock down your limiting beliefs. You have to be prepared to do the Inner work. You have to be prepared to be vulnerable. In those moments you may feel like a shadow of your former self.
Challenge brings Growth, Development and Transformation.
What does Transformation Look like?
Transformation means looking at the reason for the blog and seeing what is the same and what is different? What does it mean for me Now?
I love people. People matter to me and people matter to the God I believe in.
I believe in Love, Grace, Unconditional love, Acceptance, Compassion, Forgiveness and Freewill.
Faith and Science don't have to be diametrically opposed.
I admit I am not an expert in science or faith but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.
Sometimes head knowledge bypasses the heart of human experience.
When I started this blog, I was in Christian ministry. I now have a business, work in 3rd sector and local authority.
Having been sent a curve ball, I am resetting. I am not giving up on my dream, it may just take longer. It means leaving some things behind that have hurt and caused damage. It also means working hard to restore some damaged relationships I would like to keep.
It means changing track (a little), Starting again. Building my business.
What does Transformation Look like? My call has not changed. My call has always been to bridge the gap that we create between the sacred and secular. My call is to be holistic. My call is to see people. My call is to help people to reach their FULL potential. My call is to work with people from all faiths and none.
I have studied in educational institutions that are pioneering and world renowned.
I can understand a faith based perspective and a non faith based perspective without compromising my principles.
I can honour and respect another person's belief and values
I can accept diversity and be non -judgemental.
I am a Youth and Community worker, a transformational coach, a business owner and a woman who is passionate about people.
So I am working on finishing studying as a counsellor, launching a coaching business (initially), creating boundaries, making changes and looking after self and others.
It is going to be messy and turbulent.
It is going to be exciting.
